What does mean AkaroA?

AkaroA is a bay located in New Zealand. A country very far from France and close to Australia. We can find there the smallest dolphins in the world, the so-called Hector!

Akaroa Bay

Like many others animals, this species is threatened because these dolphins live very near the coast and are victims of fishing nets.

New Zealand is a country close to nature, and people there decided to protect their Hector Dolphins!

You will only be able to see it in zoos, which shall certainly take care of it, but it will no longer exists in the wild ... sad, isn't it?
